Hi All,
Hope the start to your summer is going well. Been busy over here in the studio. I just did a poster for AFI as well as for hardcore heroes Ruiner (with local boys Soul Control ). These two posters went pretty fast at the shows and only a small handful remain so order soon if your interested.
I have been working away on album art work for several bands. First off for the Murder Mile (ex Lost City Angels, Daman Personals). They have an EP coming out sometime very soon, so keep an eye out. Also - a new record design for Far from Finished also out sometime late summer. Check them out all summer long on the Warped Tour. I’m in the midst of working on a new one for the Street Dogs. Always an honor to work with these guys, I’m sure it will be another classic from them. I’ll post all these along with a few others soon.
Also working on a new poster design as part of the New Pornographers tour series. That will be avaiable soon.
On another note, I am very pleased to announce that Ghost-Town will be taking part in WILCO’s Solid Sound Festival August 13-15 in North Adams, MA. We will be doing demonstrations on screenprinting each day. More details to come.
Enjoy the BBQ’s and bug spray!

Hello All,
Hope your Spring is off to a good start. We have been busy over here at GT doing all sorts of projects. First off, there are some new posters. I was part of the Fucked Up poster series and did the Boston stop. Also did the poster for the very special show with Doomriders and Skeleton Witch. So if you like you metal black - and the paper the poster is printed on even blacker - then this bad boy’s for you.
I was lucky enough to once again work with one of my favorite bands Wilco and create something VERY out of the ordinary for them. Who knew we both LOVE Godzilla. If this type of music floats your boat then maybe you should check out the poster I just did for Lucero. I also did one up for John Spencer and Heavy Trash and indie rock heros LIARS.
I’m currently working on not one, not two, but THREE record covers, so I’ll let you know what those are in the coming months.
For some really exciting news, Darren spent some time working on a very cool fine art series that debuted at a gallery show over the winter. There are extremely limited amounts left that you can buy right here!
Here is a break down of what it's all about.
Persuasions of Myth
“This series of 8 prints encompasses my recent obsession with Joseph Campbell’s “The Hero with a Thousand Faces”.
This is my visual interpretation of the “Monomyth” which is often referred to as the hero’s journey. It describes the basic patterns found in mythology supposedly found within many narratives around the world and throughout time.
A hero ventures forth from the world of common day into a region of supernatural wonder: fabulous forces are there encountered and a decisive victory is won: the hero comes back from this mysterious adventure with the power to bestow boons on his fellow man.”
So that’s what we have for right now folks. Thanks for the support. We’ll be in touch again soon.

Happy New Year!
Hope everything is off to a good start. Here at Ghost-Town we started the New Year with a trip overseas.
Hong Kong and India in fact. While it was all work, work, work, we did find a little time to “sticker”
the town a bit and make a few new friends.
We have a lot coming up in the coming months, including a slew of new art prints, collabs, a few poster designs for bands we LOVE and a few other surprises. Stay tuned.

Hi Everyone,
Hope you're having a good start to the fall. Here in New England the wind is blowing, the cool air is rolling in, and the autumn leaves are turning colors. Plus, Halloween is right 'round the corner, a personal favorite here at Ghost-Town.
We have a couple of cool new things for you.
First off, I was lucky enough to get hired to do the poster for Elvis Costello's PBS taping of Austin City Limits (not sure when this airs, maybe next season?) It was an honor and privilege to work on another project for Elvis, one of our all time favorites. A special thanks to Mark Pedini and ACL for all the help. You folks are doing an amazing job. Most of these were sold at the show, so I only have a small handfull for sale on the site. Get em' before they're gone for good!
Also had some time to squeeze in a Motorhead poster, cause who doesn't love Motorhead?
I was asked to be a part of the Dinosaur Jr. official tour series with an amazing group of artists pumping out some really good work each night of the tour. If you can't make it to the CT show, pick up a Dinosaur Jr. poster RIGHT HERE. And check out this video to see why they're still one of the coolest bands around!
Thanks to Secret Serpents and the Dinosaur Jr. camp for the opportunity.
Mark you calendars if you're in New England this December. Darren has a special solo art show happening at Tazza... keep an eye out on their site for details as it gets closer.
Around the same time, the new record for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones drops, I did the art and layout in collaboration with the hugely talented Will Schaff. I don't have to tell you how AWESOME this is looking. A big thanks to Will for well, just being a super rad guy and friend.
Side note: There are still a few foil prints left at TinyShowcase.com. Order yours now.
That's it for now now folks, we'll talk again soon.

Hi everybody. A quick thanks to everyone that placed an order during the July Special Poster Tube Sale. The winner of the grand prize is Craig from the lovely state of North Carolina. Congratulations Craig! Your getting a bunch of "Stuff"!
Pete was recently asked to do a piece for TinyShowcase.com. It's a very cool Foil Stamped Fine Art Print. The fine folks at TinyShowcase do a fantastic job on everything they do, so it was an honor and a pleasure to work with them. Check out this link to order one, they are only $14.00 and they move pretty fast, so get on it!
We recently added a few new posters. We have a few copies of the last one we did for Wilco, a VERY tiny handful left for T-Model Ford and a new poster for Torche / Harvey Milk. We're completely sold out of Doomriders, a big thanks to THAT crowd, what a killer show!
Some super cool stuff coming in the VERY near future. One of those being a limited edition screen print for the one and only Elvis Costello for his appearance at Austin City Limits. How cool is that? We're pretty excited over here on our end.
We'll let you know when it's available. We'll talk soon.

Welcome to your Ghost-Town Studio summer edition update.
Hope you're enjoying your early summer. Here in New England it's rained for what feels like a month straight. Let's all hope this unfortunate state of events changes very soon!
On to the news:
Pete has been lucky enough to once again work with one of his all time favorite bands, WILCO. Three posters have been commissioned. Two are up now in the store (we only have a very small handful of each) ... the other one will be out in the coming weeks. A big thanks to their whole crew for being so cool to work with.
Speaking of "cool" – did you know Darren did not one, but TWO POSTERS for influential proto-punk legend Jonathan Richman? Not only that, but you can buy them as a SET. Pretty damn sweet!

Hey Everyone,
Hope your Spring is off to a good start. Here at GT we have been busy printing, skateboarding and enjoying all the new summer ales that keep popping up during this fine season. “Hello to Samuel Adams Summer Ale”.
There are a few things in the works for the upcoming months, so we'll keep you posted when we can reveal the little secrets. In the meantime, we have some new posters up for sale. Also, we will be making a few appearances and will have posters on hand for sale.
Check us out at these back-to-back gigs. For all our friends in MA, Darren will be on hand for Johnathan Richman at the Narrows Center for the Arts on June 19th in Fall River, MA. Pete will be on hand for Ted Leo at AS220 on June 20th in Providence, RI. So come check out some great bands and say hello.

Hi All, Pete here delivering the scoop on all things Ghost Town...
First off, I was asked to design the tour image for the Allman Brothers Band's 40th Anniversary Tour. It's an incredible honor to do work for one of Rock n Roll's most legendary bands. This will debut on shirts and other items during the band's 14-night stretch at the Beacon Theatre in NYC.
I also designed the image for the Street Dogs iTunes single "War after the War". There will be a limited edition art print to go along with this, available on their website (www.street-dogs.com) within the next two weeks. See the poster here! ALL the proceeds from the single and the posters will go to "Homes For Our Troops", a non-profit organization that is committed to helping those who have served our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries. This is an issue that is very important to both us and the band so please help support this cause by purchasing the single or art print.
Do you like Hip Hop? Here at Ghost-Town, we dig ALL sorts of music and we've done some new posters for some of our favorite Hip Hop acts. First off, we have a small amount of posters left for Common. Shout out to his crew for being such an accommodating and cool bunch of people! Second, I designed the SXSW Showcase Poster for Strange Famous Records (www.strangefamousrecords.com) Thanks to Sage Francis and his crew for the commission. This will be available at there show. Limited edition of 200 screen prints. This is one of the BEST underground Hip Hop labels working today. Support DIY music and talent in all forms!
Speaking of SXSW, Pete and Darren will be heading out to Austin next week to rock out at the festival and be a part of the Flatstock Convention. So if your in town, hit the convention center and check it out. Over 120 of the countries best designers, illustrators and printers in ONE spot, selling there sick prints.
I currently have some work at the group exhibition show at the Kentucky Museum of Arts and Craft (www.kentuckyarts.org) A big thanks to those fine folks for letting me be a part of such a great show. Lots of great designers are being represented. Check it out if your in that area.
For all you skateboarders out there, I designed a deck for my pals at Slippop. Go to slippop.deckpeck.com to get that or one of the other many fine decks available for sale.
Last but not least, we have a small amount of glow-in-the-dark zombie posters for Loud Night 4 available in the poster section and a New Art Print from Darren. There sweet!
That's all for for now. As always, thanks for the support. We'll have a Lone Star beer beer in Texas in your honor...

Hi everyone.
So January is upon us. A New Year and a new President! Needless to say there is a big sigh of relief over here in the Ghost-Town camp. Now onto the news, there is lots to report.
First off we have put in a few new posters for the end of 2008 including one for Girl Talk and for The Mighty Mighty Bosstones 08 HomeTown ThrowDown. All of these bad boys sold out at the shows but we kept a small and I mean (small) handful for the site. Speaking of those guys check out the new 7" vinyl single. My pal Adam Swinbourne did the cover painting and I did the lay out. A must have for Bosstones AND Red Sox fans (trust me) pick it up at Interpunk (http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=163641&)
2009 is starting off with a boom. We have new posters for the Canadian power house Fucked Up. If you love good old school sounding punk rock then GO see this band live. They will blow you away. Darren also did a poster for I Destroyer but these are all gone! Sorry. He figured he would make it up to you by offering his NEW T-Shirt design "Hope" now for sale on the site.
For those of you who are in Salt Lake City I currently have a piece of work up ( a portrait of President James Madison) at the Signed and Numbered Gallery ( 221 East Broadway) the show is called "All the Presidents Men" and there is a portrait of everyone of our Presidents done by different artists.
Do you Watch TV? Then you should watch Ghost Hunters International, cause I have a really good friend on the show, Dustin. Then you should go to one of there many live events and signings and buy the T-Shirt I designed for them. It's a win, win. Check the Sci-Fi channel web site for dates and times and all that jazz.
If you don't watch TV, then maybe you read books. In that case, go over to Amazon and check out "Band ID" out now from Chronicle Books. I have a logo in there I did for Roger Merit and the Disasters. It's an AWESOME! book. I gotta say, to be included in any publication along side the AC/DC and Kiss logos is an honor.
Thanks again for the support.
We'll talk again in February........

Welcome to the new and improved Ghost-Town Studio site. We want to thank Barry at Solid Uncoated for all the hard work he put into updating the site. It's more than a new face, we've added a bunch of new items and features. If you have some time, browse around to see what we have to offer.
There's a new store front for merch, and we have a slew of items coming down the pipeline. With the fall weather upon us, you can stay warm on the inside and out with official Ghost-Town studios t-shirts and shot glasses, or if you prefer to stay indoors, naked and sober, we have a couple of new posters available now and more on the way.
The Boston Globe took note of the great design here at Ghost-Town and wrote an article about our little 'ol studio. Check it out at the link below.

To celebrate all that we have going on, Darren and I are offering a special giveaway in the spirit of the North American Holiday we all call "Thanksgiving". Anyone who sends us a REAL Cornucopia will get 10 free posters! Don't send any fake junk. It has to be a real live Horn 'o Plenty to qualify for the poster giveaway.
